Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is a painless, non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process.

Though Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture can sometimes be referred to as an Acupuncture Facelift, the treatment offers much more than eliminating wrinkles and improving skin elasticity.

The Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture involves the insertion of hair-thin needles into particular areas of the face, ears, neck, hands, torso, and legs along channels or meridians of energy called Qi (pronounced chee). Certified practitioners of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture know how to specifically treat the face while simultaneously treating the underlying factors that contribute to the aging process.

What Can Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture Do For You?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture has been shown to increase collagen production and aid in its dispersion, thus helping to firm the skin and fill out wrinkles.

BENEFITS
  • Fine lines may be eliminated and deeper wrinkles diminished.
  • Improve muscle tone and tighten skin
  • Moisturize the skin by increasing local blood, lymph and qi to the face.
  • Conditions like acne and overly dry skin can be dramatically reduced.
  • Experience the full health benefits of acupuncture while rejuvenating the face.
  • Reduce and Tone bags and sagging around the eyes, face, and neck.
  • Enter a deep state of relaxation.

What is the Course of Treatment?

Generally, a complete cycle of facial rejuvenation consists of 12 to 15 treatments. The effects become most noticeable and lasting on or about the seventh session. Results vary, depending on the individual's condition and lifestyle prior to treatment.

Yes it Really Works

The effectiveness of Acupuncture is due to its direct manipulation of the body's energy system, removing blockages or adding energy when necessary. A 1996 report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Facial Acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is contraindicated for some pituitary disorders, heart disorders, diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, individuals who have a pace maker or who have a problem with bleeding or bruising or who currently suffer from migraine headaches. Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture should not be done during pregnancy, during a bout with a cold or flu, during an allergic attack or during an acute herpes outbreak.
